Priors Croft
Residents from Priors Croft Sheltered Accommodation meet in
their Common Room with other friends every Tuesday afternoon at 2pm for
a time of fellowship,
encouragement and fun.
They enjoy a very relaxed and informal "Songs of Praise" with songs old and new
chosen by those who are present.
There is a "thought
for the week", prayer for those who want it for themselves, their families or friends including other residents of Prior
Croft or those in Nursing Homes or in Hospital.
The
afternoon is rounded off with a cup of tea, a biscuit and a
chat.
Many of those attending regard this
as their Church because of their age or their increasing
incapacities.
These afternoons are co-ordinated by Philip Comley (contact details from the Church Office) who is assisted by a number of others from the church.
New members are always welcome at these afternoons whether from Priors Croft or elsewhere.
